My passion is the classical guitar. I love teaching students in private guitar lessons to read and play from sheet music, to understand music theory on guitar, and to play guitar with healthy technique. The sound fills me with peace, and I find such joy in sharing that peace with my students. I train students to master the classical guitar and other acoustic styles such as worship and finger-style guitar. To play the classical guitar well is be perfectly at rest in the body and the soul.
My guitar instructor colleagues in Salem, Keizer, Corvallis, and Portland specialize in jazz guitar lessons, metal guitar lessons, bluegrass guitar lessons, and other genres. In classical guitar lessons I can teach you the foundational guitar skills to successfully study any advanced style, and I can then refer you to the best teacher to help you to continue to master that specialized passion.
